Students begin with high-interest nonfiction text connected to their curiosity. Through purposeful reading, we identify strengths, uncover challenging word patterns, and create an individualized path toward stronger reading.

ANALYZE

Analyze words. Analyze text. Analyze meaning.

Students become reading scientists as they investigate words, syllable patterns, phrases, and text structure. Using explicit instruction, phrase-cued reading, and annotation strategies, students learn how to unlock meaning.

BUILD

Build fluency. Build understanding. Build confidence.

Through repeated practice and meaningful texts, students strengthen accuracy, automaticity, expression, and comprehension–building skills they can transfer to any classroom.
